Lyngby-Taarbæk City of Knowledge has appointed Marianna Lubanski as new CEO

Marianna Lubanski has extensive international experience with innovation, entrepreneurship, business development, and regional development in close collaboration with universities, municipalities and private companies. Her experience will now contribute to further developing Lyngby-Taarbæk.

“Lyngby-Taarbæk City of Knowledge is a unique collaboration with a huge potential and it is an impressive development that is underway. I am proud that I now can bring my long experience of innovation and business development into play in the City of Knowledge. And I am looking forward to working with the members of the City of Knowledge and the skilled employees, creating the most value for all the City of Knowledge stakeholders, citizens, students, companies, etc.”, says Marianna.

Marianna Lubanski has a MSc degree in International Business and has for the last 7 years been director in Copenhagen Capacity, responsible for attracting foreign companies to the Capital Region. Her experience includes being the executive director of the Danish Innovation Center in Silicon Valley, Director for Business Development in Grundfos, and project manager for the Innovation Council by ‘Mandag Morgen’. She has been self-employed several times and has worked closely with Danish and international innovation and entrepreneurship environments. It is thus an experienced woman who is now embarking on the task of further developing the City of Knowledge.

On behalf of the Board, Chairman Claus Nielsen states that he is pleased to announce the collaboration with such a competent and experienced candidate as the new director, and he is looking forward to further developing the City of Knowledge with Marianna.
