Science Festival in the City of Knowledge

The Collaboration between Schools, Higher Education and Companies continues in Lyngby

The City of Knowledge in collaboration the Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality organize the annual Science Festival in week 39 – a contribution to the country-wide Science Festival (Naturvidenskabsfestival) under the auspices of Astra, the National Center for Learning in Science in Denmark.

Local companies, primary schools, high schools and the Technological University of Denmark collaborate to create exciting cases and courses for children and teenagers. During the last couple of years the Science Festival in Lyngby has provided many different cases and themes – such water cleansing, waste management, catalysts, climate and sustainable development and much more – and it contributes to new knowledge, learning and methods.

The complete program for this year’s Science Festival will be presented in the beginning of September.
