DTU High Tech Summit 2017

DTU to host innovative summit in the fall with the City of Knowledge as a partner

On September 20th and 21st, DTU is opening its doors to DTU High Tech Summit – the first conference of its kind at DTU, which mixes conference and exhibition with a focus on the digitalisation of Danish industry – the so-called ‘Industry 4.0’.

DTU High Tech Summit is a conference targeting all persons engaging or working with the digitalisation of Danish industry. The purpose of the summit is to provide access and exposure to one of the largest hightech startup environments in Denmark, support current, internationally leading research and development projects within Industry 4.0, establish meetings with startups, investment potentials and funding possibilities, DTU Skylab and Science DTU, facilitate a number of debates, Tech Talks, awards, competitions and Hackathons as well as networking opportunities and meetings with clients and partners across sectores and industries.

Regarding the background for the City of Knowledge’s involvement in the High Tech Summit, CEO Caroline Arends explains:
Lyngby-Taarbæk City of Knowledge has a clear mission objective – to maintain DTU’s position as one of Europe’s leading technical universities via close collaborations with the private sector and building bridges across sectors. The High Tech Summit at DTU plays a very important part in this. Lyngby-Taarbæk City of Knowledge is furthermore part of the Greater Copenhagen-effort to develop the metropolitan area as an international hotspot for knowledge environments within, for example, Industry 4.0.
