Supporting the green transition

The green transition in society requires more than innovation in research and technology. This is a comprehensive process that requires the participation of the whole of society, including policy-makers, industry, research and the general public.

The Green Transition is happening NOW and we have to speed up. The transition calls for partnerships, learning by doing, test and trials, close collaboration between researchers, students, companies, and public authorities – components present in Lyngby. Based close to the DTU campus, surrounded by large research based and innovative companies, and a bunch of innovative startups, we have the components and the knowledge to accelerate the green transition.

At the new Sustainability Lab we will showcase some of the solutions and help all interested parties to gain new knowledge and create partnerships.

Join us for the grand opening on April 20 and see what it is all about.

Sustainability Lab is a 700 m2 showroom and visitor center, a co-working space, a meeting and event space and a living lab where we test and demonstrate technologies offering solutions towards a greener world.

Sustainability Lab is a sandbox for the +80 members of the Science City Lyngby not-for-profit association, partners, sponsors and for all relevant startups (Danish and International).
