International Day 2015

International Day in Lyngby celebrates the diversity of the city. Come and experience a new side of Lyngby when Microsoft, local businesses, the municipality and other partners open their doors to the public. Experience the new Microsoft building from the inside and join a number of other exciting events with your fellow work colleagues, your family or a couple of friends on Friday, November 20, 2015.

International Day in Lyngby is for everyone who values an international community in Lyngby – Danes and internationals, adults and children. We aim at giving all Danish and international employees, families and citizens a taste of what Lyngby is like and wants to be in the future.

We have created the event to celebrate that 850 Microsoft employees recently moved in to their new Danish domicile in the heart of Lyngby, 2,000 international employees work at DTU, more than 100 nationalities live in Lyngby and a large number of the Danish citizens have international experience and outlook.

International Day in Lyngby is organised by the ‘Live in Lyngby’ partnership between the City of Knowledge, the Municipality of Lyngby-Taarbæk and The Business Association of Lyngby.
