City of Knowledge Innovation Camp
The hotel of the future
The City of Knowledge Innovation Camp 2016 is held on November 16th at Virum High School with the participation of students from every upper secondary education in Lyngby-Taarbæk municipality as well as some of the public schools. Each year the assignment is posed by a member organisation in the City of Knowledge partnership. This year Hotel Scandic Eremitage is providing the topic of ‘The Hotel of the Future’ to approx. 200 students.
The purpose of the camp is to create an innovation-chain from primary school to upper secondary education to university and other higher educations. The intention is that the students will acquire an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset from participating in the camp and tackling a business challenge. The problem-solving method is therefore focused on furthering innovative thinking.
The City of Knowledge Innovation Camp 2016 is supported by Arbejdernes Landsbank and Sydbank Fonden.
