The Board is composed of 13 members:

• 3 members appointed by the Lyngby-Taarbæk municipal council from among local politicians.
• 5 members representing the business sector (companies with more than 151 employees), chosen by the companies that are members in that category.
• 2 members represent businesses (companies with fewer than 150 employees), chosen by the companies that are members in that category.
• 2 members are elected by the educational institutions.
• 1 member represent the retail industri.
