Started studies in Lyngby but still not sure where to hang out or find the best cultural and natural spots in the city?
Join Lyngby-Taarbæk Vidensby, PF and Cphbusiness students at Lyngby Day on September 27th and get introduced to the city’s best spots while getting to know other students.
The event is an orientation race around Lyngby where you will have to solve small tasks together with a small group of other students. You can either make groups beforehand, or group up with new people when you arrive.
Race around city by following a map and explore all the attractions of Lyngby – and get an exclusive opportunity to visit some of Lyngby’s most interesting companies and organisations.
The race will take place from 1-5 pm. Afterwards you are invited for dinner with a special deal at the newly opened Cocks’s and Cows or Luca at Lyngby Hovedgade 78.
Programme
- 13.00-13.10: Welcome to all students at Lyngby Torv (in front of the Town Hall) by Mayor Sofia Osmani
- 13.10-13.30: Introduction to Lyngby Day orientation race, grouping and handing out route maps by CEO Marianna Lubanski, Lyngby-Taarbæk City of Knowledge
- 13.30-17.00: Orientation race around city (including exclusive visits at some of Lyngby’s most interesting companies/organisations)
- 17.00-20.00: Dinner at Cock’s and Cows or Luca with a special Lyngby Day deal, Lyngby Hovedgade 78
The race is free of charge. The optional dinner with the special Lyngby Day discount is at your own expense. Registration is required, sign up here.
