Come and join us Tuesday, 7th October when Science City Lyngby invites international citizens in Lyngby to an event that focuses on the importance of democracy and why you need to engage, use your right to vote, and support the democratic process – the core of the Danish society.

  • Sofia Osmani, Mayor of Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, extends a warm welcome
  • Bernardo Basilici Menini, Editor in Chief at Copenhagen Post, talks about how the world’s democracies are challenged, in an increasing unsecure world, and why it is important to support local democratic processes as an international
  • Kasper Graa Wulff, Director in Lyngby-Municipality, presents an overview of the Danish democratic and political system, how it works, and how the voting process onfolds
  • Meet international candidates who participates in the local election and hear about their experiences, as internationals, with the Danish democracy, and why they think it is important getting involved
