Guided tour in Nordhavn by Lyngby International Club

Nordhavn is a former industrial port transformed into a new lively neighborhood with housing, offices, and attractive public spaces. During the tour, we’ll see:

  • an activity park and a playground with trampolines on a rooftop of a multilevel parking, with a beautiful city and sea view (Konditaget Luders)
  • a former grain silo transformed into a fashionable apartment complex (The Silo)
  • a former cement silo converted into a modern office building (The Portland Towers)
  • the “green” office of the UN

During the tour, we’ll talk about sustainability, green technologies in architecture, and the attempts of the architects to keep the important historical landmarks during the reconstruction of the district. We’ll visit the rooftop playground and can jump on the trampolines while enjoying the sea view.

After the tour, we may visit one of the local cafés.
