Science Day

Intelligent future

Science Day is a national science festival, which takes place every year in April with over 70,000 visitors at around 500 events all over Denmark.

During Science Day, educational and research institutions, cultural institutions, hospitals, businesses and municipalities open their doors to the public. Locally in Lyngby, both DTU and Lyngby City Library host exciting lectures and other activities for everyone wanting to get acquainted with current research.

The purpose of Science Day is to focus on how research and innovation help to solve society’s challenges by involving citizens and creating stronger relationships between local communities and researchers.

The City of Knowledge works to create stronger links between DTU and other educational institutions in Lyngby-Taarbæk, private businesses and public institutions.
