Large housing project in Vidensbyen

A unique project to ensure 675 new apartments to students and PhDs

With the green light given from the municipality to develop a new local plan for the area, a unique architectural construction project and transformation of the old state-owned building in Sorgenfri is underway. The project encompasses up to 34.500 m2 with approximately 675 apartments for students, PhDs and senior citizens in an exciting modern construction project with vibrant green roofs and attractive common areas for socializing.

The project contributes to the City of Knowledge’s goal of becoming one of Europe’s leading knowledge and university towns with a world class research and education level, where student housing is a supporting factor. The project partners are Freja Ejendomme and Triton Development North, who are both member organisations in the City of Knowledge and Urban Development partnership, alongside Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality.
